Description: This
protected area is probably the only tropical rainforest within the
city limits of any Capital City throughout the Western Hemisphere.
The Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) undertakes
ecological canopy scientific investigations in this
660-football-field-sized area located within 15 minutes from any
5-Star Hotel in Panama City. In this park, you can walk through the
mark path, surrounded by orchids, cedar trees, and watch more than
200 species of birds, mammals and reptiles.
